Retreat

So this weekend my church is going on retreat. We get to wake up early Friday morning and head out to Pickneyville. I have no clue how far of a drive that is, but I hope it isn't a long one. Driving in a smelly van with a bunch of immature little kids that act like they are ten can be a pain. Seriously, the kids are in high school and they act like they are in fifth grade. Sometimes I wish I was under age again so I could just crack some skulls. Pretty violent for a church trip right? Trust me you would feel the same if you had to deal with them. The girls are just as bad to, I swear. Its high school drama all over again. You think with being church girls and all they would be loving and understanding or something. Of course not though, they are as cut throat as girls can get. Hopefully the trip wont be a complete waste and Ill have some fun. I do have a few friends in the group that are actually mature enough to have a conversation with and we have a pretty good time. I'm not really sure what we are doing on this retreat. I know we will listen to some sermons and have some Bible study and what not, but besides that I'm clueless. Hopefully we get some games of football or wiffle ball going. If I'm going to pay thirty bucks, I better have some kind of fun. Paying money to go to church sounds ridiculous right? It is, but I am a leader at my church and my youth pastor needs me to chaperon so its whatever. Hopefully I make something out of it.
